Description

The Store - Cleaner is a store provided for the central storage of consumables and bulk containers of cleaning chemicals. Large facilities may provide a separate room for the storage of chemicals depending on quantities, safety requirements and operational policies for centralised storage and decanting of chemicals to units.

Up to 24 hours (dependent on unit operating hours)

Additional Considerations

~ Hold open door hardware may be required to allow for easy movement of equipment and trolleys in and out of the room. ~ Type and extent of storage solutions for this room will depend on the departments to be serviced and operational models for cleaning and restocking consumables. ~ Type of storage provided for cleaning chemicals, particularly where the storage of significant quantities of chemicals containing flammable ingredients, to be assessed to meet safety and service requirements. ~ A clean linen trolley, or equivalent, may be provided for storage of clean mop heads that are laundered either onsite or offsite. The size of trolley will vary depending on service model and size of facility. ~ Controlled, staff only access is required.
